Front
Range Boot Camp Common Questions
How
do I sign up now?
Go to the registration page
and download the proper file. Fill out the appropriate forms
and follow the payment instructions. The sooner you get your
registration in, the better we can ensure you get in the camp
you want. Once we've received your registration information,
we'll contact you to schedule your pre-camp evaluation. Remember,
each camp sells out. Register early!
The Pre-Camp Evaluation includes the following:
1.
We will give you an introduction to Adventure Boot
Camp and answer any questions you may have. We will also review
your medical history.
2.
We will take a few simple measurements to see where you are
prior to beginning camp. The actual measurements (number of
inches) don't matter. We want to know how much you improve
during the camp. It's strictly for a post-camp comparison.
These numbers and all other information will be held in the
strictest confidence.
3.
We will record your weight and measure your body fat percentage.
Again, the numbers don't matter. We just want to be able to
measure your improvement. Don't be surprised if you see a
3-8% reduction in your body fat over the four weeks! This
is common.
4.
You will receive your Welcome Packet and Boot Camp T-shirt.
5.
See you at camp!
What
do I need to bring to camp?
You will need to bring one set of 5 - 8 lb. hand weights and
an exercise mat. We do not recommend yoga
mats. You will also want to bring water to keep yourself hydrated
during camp. Optional items are a towel to dry off with and
gloves or mittens and a hat in the winter. Dress in a layered
fashion...even if it is chilly, you will get warm very fast!
What
if I sign up for the three day plan and then want to do all
more days of the camp?
After starting camp, many women realize how fun and convenient
it is so they request to sign up for more days.
In addition, they realize that the more days they attend camp
the greater the results. In these situations, you will simply
be pro-rated from the point you decide to join us for more
days .
Will
I be sore sometimes?
Most people feel some soreness for the first 2-3 days. After
that point, it is slight to moderate. It's part of the process
that lets you improve!
Is
there a diet program included?
Nutrition is on a consultation basis. If interested if is
available on a supporting program basis.
What
kinds of people go to camp?
They are people just like you. Someone who needs a little
push to jump start their fitness and wellness program. Some
exercise experience is needed to ensure your safety and a
better flow of class.
How
do I dress for camp?
Generally a T-shirt and shorts or other workout attire.
Is
there a refund policy?
If you are unable to attend camp due to circumstances out
of your control, we can offer you a refund if you notify us
prior to your session start date. However, we
will charge a $55.00 cancellation fee. If we are
notified after your session begins, we can only give you a
credit towards another boot camp. This credit is nontransferable.
There is no cash refund. This is not negotiable. If
for some reason a camp day must be postponed by the instructor,
you will be contacted asap and an alternate day will be scheduled
accordingly.
If
I register for 3 days a week, do I have to come on M-W-F only?
You may come any 3 days as long as you let me know your schedule
before camp starts. If sometehing comes up you may change
a scheduled day if you give me a minimum of 24 hours advance
notice. If something comes up that is out of your control
(ie: an illness) you may make that day up if you let me know
of the illness as soon as possible and only during the current
session of camp.
Can I enroll in boot camp after the current session
has started?
You may enroll in the current session of boot camp after it
is started up to the beginning of the 3rd week. Your registration
fee will be prorated accordingly.
What if I have to travel on business or have a vacation scheduled
during a particular session of camp?
Your registration fee for that session will be prorated accordingly
to account for missed camp days.
What
is a typical day like at camp?
That's difficult to say since each day is intentionally different
to alleviate boredom. You can expect Pilates, Yoga, some light
running, weight training, obstacle courses, core training
and jumping rope each week. On special days, you will go hiking.
It's always an adventure, and you'll always have fun! We teach
you a great deal about proper form and "core stability." You
will enjoy a unique fitness experience from the top trainers
in the industry and the creator of the boot camp craze which
has swept the nation.
How
soon will I see results?
Performance improvement can take place in as little as three
days. "Visual Improvement" can take from two to four weeks
depending on your effort level. It's becoming common to see
a camper go down 1-2 dresses sizes within the first camp.
Remember, everyone is different! It's not a competition, so
focus on your individual results and have fun.
Are
there shower facilities, or a place I can get ready for work?
If you have a membership at a near by fitness club, you can
get ready there.
What
will I do after camp is over?
You can get re-measured and tested to show your progress and
success in the program. Many (up to 80%) of the campers return
for a second and even third camp. Some remain committed because
we have so much fun. Is
a diet & nutrition part of the Adventure Boot Camp?
We strongly recommend that all campers enroll in some form
of Nutrition Program for best results.
What
other events are included or offered?
On occasion, there will be special events hosted by Front
Range Adventure Boot Camp. These will be educational or community
related events which will allow you to learn about health
and fitness, contribute to the community, and socialize with
other members of the boot camp outside of our daily workout
sessions. You will receive more details about special events
during the course of camp. Please provide us with your email
so we can keep you up to date on our various programs.
What
if I need more individual attention?
Personal training sessions are available on a limited basis.

and times if you would like individual training.
